What’s New in SPSS Statistics 25 & Subscription

  • Execute new Bayesian statistics functions including regression, ANOVA, and t-tests.
  • Quickly create attractive, modern charts and edit them in Microsoft Office.
  • Extend your advanced statistical analysis with updates to MIXED, GENLINMIXED, GLM, and UNIANOVA. Example: random effect solution results, continuous time spatial covariance structures, profile plots with error bars also including grand mean, include 0 on Y-axis. Tests for heteroscedasticity among other news.
  • Write, edit, and format syntax faster with Syntax Editor shortcuts.
  • Some functions like merge files is easier to use.

  • Custom Dialog Builder, where you create own dialog boxes/menues, has been upgraded.
  • Programmability enhancements (similar to app’s) has been muche easier to use. You now can use an extensions hub to search for and download applications with functions you would like to add.
  • Reading and writing Excel files has been easier.
  • Reading text data files, it is easier to read in CSV-files.
  • Date/time Formats has been easier to use.

  • Geospatial Association Rules
  • Spatial Temporal Prediction, that uses data that contains location data.
  • Temporal Causal Models, to discover key causal relationships in time series data.
  • Bulk Loading to a database, when exporting data will be faster.
  • Programmability enhancements, you can run R programs from any external R process and also easier use functions made in R via “extensions”.

  • Automated output modification, some improvements in output window.
  • Web reports
  • Simulation enhancements, you can simulate data without a predictive model.
  • Nonparametric tests (NPTESTS) enhancements, has pivot table and chart output.
  • Essentials for Python, is automatically installed.
  • Downloading extension bundles (like app’s) to get extra functions to your menues.
