Note – find lock code in concurrent license

 In Note!

Hi, I have talked earlier on 12/9 how to find the lock code when you run a desktop version (authorized user) of SPSS Statistics (see link in the bottom of this post).

But how do you find the lock code when you have a concurrent license? There are 2 ways:

Answer 1: You have to run the file “echoid” via command line from the Concurrent License Manager installation.

  1. First change directory to the one you have license manager administrator installed, with the .

2. For example I have it in this directory, so then I should write following with the “cd”-command:

       cd C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\SafeNet Sentinel\Sentinel RMS License Manager\WinNT

3. Then you can type in echoid and following will be shown:

So my lock code in this example (locking code) is 4-12016. This lock code is needed if the support wants to give you an offline license code – a code that can be used even if you are not connected to internet or having problem with fire walls.

Answer 2: You can also find the ehocid – file through the GUI, and explore to the Place and open it directly from there – and you will get the lock code presented in a CMD-prompt automatically.
